Hello, stranger.

Hello, stranger.

Childhood photos are natural icebreakers, aren’t they?

Oh wait, there’s some left. Let me just…

*Steps back and looks at his handiwork*

There. Much better. No ice.

Now, if you want the short version…

I’m a content-led marketer for B2B SaaS companies.

What’s a content-led marketer? A content-led marketer is a marketing generalist with strategy and distribution skills but with stellar content chops at the core of their skillset. I’m that guy.

Speaking of content,

Content that’s technically accurate inspires confidence in your offering.

Content that’s human builds trust in your company.

Content that’s sprinkled with inside references creates a personal connection.

When content does all three, it delights.

I’m a sucker for content that delights. I believe it’s one of the last missing pieces that turns a B2B company from a name in the market into a brand customers have confidence in, trust deeply, and feel connected to.

Oh, you want the long version?

You say you have an above-average attention span in this twenty-first century? I laud you. I also tell you you’re in luck, because in the long version, we have a conversation.

Why don’t we start by talking about our hobbies? I like strength training, running, photography, reading fiction, tinkering with technology (this website is a result of that), swimming, dressing well, motorcycles, fast cars, TV shows, and of course, writing.

(“Damn, you like waaaaay too many things, buddy.” “Yeah, I know.”)

What about you? What are your hobbies? (email me! It’s ab (at) ashutoshbhosale (dot) com)

In my free time, I write for software-based businesses for work. I believe work is something you do in your free time to practice your intellect and curiosity; after you keep fit and have fun with your life. Not the other way around.

(There isn’t a single day that goes by when I don’t fear being cancelled for saying what I just said, but it’s important, someone needs to say it, so there, I said it.)

How did I end up here? Well, it’s a long story, but this is the tl;dr version-

Three years into my engineering degree, I was frustrated. I had a good analytical mind, but I’d always loved creativity more. So I took a break to pursue my life-long dream of becoming a writer. I didn’t end up writing any New York Times bestsellers, but I did pretty okay, first as a B2C writer mostly writing affiliate buying guides, then as a B2B marketing writer at an enterprise WordPress agency. Two years into my writing journey, I realized I’m not as popular as Bill Gates and a degree can be quite handy (you know, for getting VISA approvals, being a part of society and such). So I went back to college to get the piece of paper. I have it now, and it’s still a piece of paper.

My favorite part out of the agency experience was creating case studies. So much so that I created a course about it. There’s something incredibly satisfying about digging up hidden narratives, crafting great business stories, and wooing the right people.

But enough about me! What are you waiting for? Holler a hi at me on my email! Let’s have an actual conversation. You could start by telling me about your favorite TV shows.
